Kern County’s diverse communities have set the pace for California in developing community strength through local collaboration. This neighborhood-based coalition identifies and addresses local issues, brings together health and social service agencies and offers locally based family-centered services. The Buttonwillow Collaborative is accredited by the Kern County Network for Children. The Buttonwillow Community Resource Center Collaborative mission is “to ensure that health care, educational success, and public safety needs are met for all families in Buttonwillow.”
