KWC Community Meeting: McFarland Veteran’s Hall
Join us for an important community conversation about safe drinking water.
Who We Are
The Kern Water Collaborative is a local nonprofit that manages a program to provide access to safe and clean drinking water through free nitrate testing for eligible residents.
What Will Be Discuss
Come hear about the Management Zone Implementation Plan and what it could mean for residents with nitrate-impacted groundwater. Learn how this Plan can help address nitrate in groundwater while supporting safe drinking water and long-term groundwater restoration.
Who Should Attend
You should attend if you own a private domestic well and live within the Kern County Valley Floor outside public water system boundaries. If you pay a water bill, you are within a public water system boundary and are not eligible for KWC’s program.
